Doo-wop / Soul / Funk. An excellent combination of styles only to be matched by excellent songwriting and musicians executing each and every song’s complex notes.

Originally from Kansas City, a stop in Las Vegas, continuing westward to Los Angeles before eventually making a trip to London, England… and it was there that Bloodstone finally found their support/footing. Decca Records signed them and released their debut album (England only). The label brought on producer Mike Vernon for Bloodstone’s follow up LP, Natural High, and the stars aligned. The album was a success and would go on to sell over 1x million units. Their lead single positioned #10 on Billboard’s US Pop, while all 3x earned positions within Billboard’s Top 10 for US Soul chart.

Throughout the the course of their lengthy career they would release over 12x studio LPs and be a leader in the Black Rock/Funk movement.
