“My Love Is A Rainbow” is the second track on their 1967 LP, Reflections. The trippy intro with background harmonies as subtle swaying textures and those lyrics immediately grabbed my attention.

Just ten years prior, this vocal group was originally a doo wop group known as The Chesters from Brooklyn. A year later they changed their name to “The Imperials” and released their first single, “Tears On My Pillow” on End Records. It was a smash hit, selling over a million copies and put the on the track to success. Over time there were a few different lineup changes but Little Anthony remained the one constant.
