William Onyeabor, a Nigerian funk/soul singer/musician/businessman, often wrote songs which opposed war and embraced the togetherness of peace and love.⁣

Between 1977 and 1985 he released 8x albums on his own label, Wilfilm (Recording Studios) Ltd., and retired from music to concentrate on business.⁣

In 2014 he was quoted as saying, “I only create music that will help the world”. Just three years later he passed away at the age of 70 years old. ⁣
